Active Aligners work on basic orthodontic principles. They are used for the correction of crooked teeth, gaps or rotation, while achieving the desired results in an organized and planned fashion. These customized trays are “invisible” and move the tooth in the desired direction. This is achieved through wearing a series of Active Aligners, each for 22 hours a day, 1 to 2 weeks at a time (one stage), which move the teeth per stage until their optimal alignment has been reached.
Active Aligners start from R 27 400 up to R 35 000 inc. for more complex cases. Straightening most smiles in an average of 6 months (this excludes any dental work necessary by your doctor to get you smile journey ready i.e. initial consultation, X-rays, cleanings, IPR, attachments, follow-up cpnsultations etc. It’s as easy as 1,2,3!

Active Aligners Treatable Cases
Only fully erupted permanent dentition – no primary or erupting teeth.
It’s never too late to start straightening your smile. There are no maximum age limitations applicable to Active Aligners Treatment.
Young teens qualify if all their adult teeth have fully erupted through the gum and are grown in, usually around 13 to 14 years of age. Every teen develops differently and only a Provider can accurately assess whether a teen will qualify as a suitable candidate.
